What I Know…
“Be Still and Know that I Am God” Psalm 46:10
There are so many unknowns in our lives. Will our kids be all we dream for them? Will our spouse be all we need at all times? Will the church/office where I work be around in the next few years? Will gas prices come down? Will the economy improve? What will happen to PAUMCS after disaffiliation?
I wish I had the answers or could see the future. What I do know is WHO I can trust with all of it…Christ. He knows where we are headed and what our future holds. He wants the best for us, our children, spouses, churches, and ministries. We just have to trust Him! I know that is hard, at times a very difficult place to be. We don’t like to wait or rely on someone else. But time and again He has shown Himself to be faithful to me, and I know He always will be.
What we can do in the interim, is continue to be and do who we are and what God has called us to be and do. Our job is to support and love our churches and conferences. To be Christ to a broken and hurting world. It’s okay to have a different opinion or view, but how we interact with each other is key…showing the love of Christ is always the answer!
Praying you rely on Christ and not the things of this world.
With HIS Grace,
LouAnn
